What this site collects, and why.

Enquiry forms send your name, phone number, email, organisation and message to the RGVS office over an encrypted connection. They are stored on the firm's own server in India and used only to answer you. Each enquiry is first checked automatically for unsolicited sales offers; the others are announced to the office on WhatsApp and email, and an acknowledgement is sent to the number and email you give. An enquiry held back by that check gets no automatic acknowledgement; the office reviews it. The form also tells the server how many seconds it was open before it was sent, which helps tell people from automated senders.

When the office marks an enquiry as spam, its email address and email domain, phone number and internet (IP) address are kept only to recognise further spam: the IP address for 30 days, the rest for up to 400 days, and never beyond the life of the enquiry itself.

The rate pulse sends what you type (a society, an area, a PIN code or a Google Maps link), the point you pick on the map or — only if you press the location button — your approximate coordinates to the firm's server. The server looks the place up with a map service (Google Maps or OpenStreetMap; PIN codes in India Post's public directory) and computes an aggregate band from the firm's own reports. To decide where to gather evidence next, it keeps the rough area of each look-up (about 1 km), the property type and the kind of answer given, for up to 13 months. So that bank reports filed later can check how good its answers were, it also keeps the band it gave for each ~250 m square, property type and month — the figures only. If you tell us a band looks too low, about right or too high, only the count of such answers for the ~1 km area, type and month is kept. None of this includes your IP address or anything about you. If you ask for a fresh market search, the area's name is sent to Anthropic's Claude to search property portals and registry data. The map, when you open it, is drawn from OpenStreetMap tiles with the Leaflet library loaded from unpkg.com or cdnjs.cloudflare.com. The site sets no advertising cookies and uses no third-party analytics; fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. Your light/dark choice is kept in your browser only.

Valuation files themselves are handled under the engagement terms with the bank or client and are never published. To have an enquiry deleted, write to rgvs2003@gmail.com.
